Several variations available
Neutrik opticalCON connectors are available in different variations. These include the opticalCON LITE, opticalCON DRAGONFLY, opticalCON ADVANCED and the opticalCON HYBRID MED.
Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED DUO
Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED DUO is an LC-based hybrid solution with 2 optical fibres and 4 power contacts, and is widely used in equipment. With built-in, automatic shutters and a robust housing, the 2 optical fibres are always protected from dust and high numbers of mating cycles in harsh environments are achievable. Compatibility with conventional LC connectors on both the front and rear of the chassis connectors allows the use of standard LC patch cables as well as the robust Neutrik opticalCON cables.
Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED QUAD
The Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED QUAD series is also an LC-based fibre optic solution, but with 4 fibre links and no power contacts.
Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED MTP
With Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED MTP, we create robust fibre-optic connections with 12 or 24 fibres in one connector. This makes it possible to create fibre assemblies with several transitions.
Neutrik opticalCON LITE
Cables with opticalCON LITE connectors are a cost-effective and lightweight solution. The unique fibre optic connector design allows extreme bending without fibre breakage and absorbs high lateral forces. This makes it an ideal choice for permanent and semi-permanent installations such as server rooms, patch cabinets and indoor cabling.
Neutrik opticalCON DRAGONFLY
The Neutrik opticalCON DRAGONFLY is more robust, reliable and easier to maintain than similar hybrid solutions for the broadcast and AV market. Using Expanded Beam, the DRAGONFLY connector requires little maintenance and offers a long service life. Suitable for harsh environments, these connectors are insensitive to vibration, dust and moisture. And if there is ever a problem anyway, a repair is done in no time by us.
Neutrik opticalCON HYBRID MED
The Neutrik opticalCON HYBRID MED fibre-optic connector with Expanded Beam is an ideal solution for medical applications. The hybrid connector is equipped with up to 16 fibre-optic connections for data and 2 power contacts. The Expanded Beam fibre-optic connections are very insensitive to dust and dirt due to the large surface area. The smooth connector design is very easy to handle and clean. Moreover, the push/pull ring makes the HYBRID MED connector easy to use with gloves on.
