Customised cables

Because we are brand-independent, we always select the best connector for your application. This also applies to the further finishing of the cable, such as the type of wire, sheathing or marking. Pure customisation for an optimal end product, where no cable leaves our plant without being tested. That is how we do it at MCAP.

In the more than thirty years of our existence, we have made cable assemblies with an enormous variety of connectors. We have the right tools and know the finishing methods of almost every quality brand, such as Neutrik, Molex, JST, TE/AMP, JAE, 3M, Hirose, Harting, Souriau, Binder, Phoenix, Harwin, ODU, Lemo, Stäubli, ITT Canon, Glennair, Lumberg, FCI, Z&F, Fischer, Hirschmann, Würth and Telegärtner.

Therefore, it’s very easy for us to adapt to your requirements or to advise you, brand-independently, which brand and type of connector, cable and wire, sheathing and marking is best for your application.

Below is a selection of the possible applicable connector types from various manufacturers. This list of connector types is only a selection of the possibilities. With us, brand independence really is brand independence. This means that we always look for the most optimal connectors and corresponding components for your application.

Molex PicoBlade is a leading wire-to-board and wire-to-wire 1.25mm pitch connector system. With its design flexibility, PicoBlade is an ideal connector for a wide range of applications and industries. The PicoBlade connector series saves approximately 45% pcb space compared to typical 2.00mm wire-to-board systems. It is a single-row connector system with variations from 2- to 15-pin. We process the PicoBlade connector series with wire gauges from AWG28 to AWG26.

MOLEX MICRO-FIT

The Molex Micro-Fit family of board-to-board, wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connectors withstands operating temperatures up to 125°C. The pitch of this connector is 3.00mm and has a maximum of 12 circuits as a single row and 24 circuits as a double row. The Micro-Fit connector series is suitable for wire gauges from AWG30 to AWG18 and can be used up to currents of maximum 8.5A.

MOLEX MIZU P25

The Molex Mizu P25 series of wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connectors was the first miniature connector to be IP67 certified, offering a high level of dustproof and waterproof protection. The connector is available as 2-, 3- or 4-circuit and has a 2.5mm pitch. The Mizu P25 is suitable for wire gauges of AWG22 and currents up to 3A.

HARWIN GECKO M80

The Harwin Gecko M80 connector series is a comprehensive range of wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connectors. The Gecko M80 series is available with different configurations for power, signal and coax. There are single-row and double-row versions, with wire gauges ranging from AWG28 to AWG12. The pictured version is a 14×2 position female connector with jackscrews with 2 power contacts AWG12. This Gecko M80 connector is suitable for currents up to 20A and 14 contacts for AWG22. The connector can be used in environments of -55°C to +125°C.

TE AMPMODU

TE's AMPMODU MoOD IV and V connector family consists of a series of rugged and reliable wire-to-board connectors on a modular .100″ x .100″ (2.54 x 2.54 mm) grid. The housings are available in single row up to 36 contacts and double row up to 72 contacts, with or without polarization. We process the TE AMPMODU connector series with wire gauges from AWG30 to AWG20 and it can be used up to current ratings of 3A.

MOLEX KK-254

The Molex KK-254 connector series is suitable for board-to-board and wire-to-board, for signal and low power applications. The KK-254 family offers flexibility in design and is a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications. The pitch is 2.54mm and the connectors are available in 2- to 36-pin variants. We process the KK-254 connector series with wire gauges from AWG24 to AWG22 and it can be used up to currents of 4A.

JST PHR

The JST PH series of small wire-to-board connectors is designed to meet the demand for the high-density connection of internal connections on printed circuit boards. It is compact, highly reliable and low in price. The pitch of this connector is 2mm and is available from 2 to 16 pin. Suitable for wire gauges up to AWG24 and currents of maximum 2A.
