The right connectors
When designing a wired connection, choosing the right connectors and cable is crucial. There are countless choices of types and brands, so this is not always easy. With our decades of experience, we can help determine the most optimal combination of connectors and cable during the design process. This can save you a lot of time, energy and money.
Fibre optic connectors for various applications
The applications for optical fibre are not limited to internet connections and data networks. In these sectors, we find the commonly used fibre optic connectors, such as LC, SC and the multi-core MTP. In addition to fibre optic connectors for these sectors, we also produce cabling for industrial applications, where connectors have to meet stringent mechanical requirements. These include high IP ratings for water and dust resistance, but also mechanical stress, which is why the housing of the connectors is made of metal.
Connectors for copper cable
For use with copper cables, we find connectors suitable for power, control, signal transmission or a combination of these. These range from small plastic board-to-board connectors on printed circuit boards to the heavy industrial variants of, for example, ODU or Harting.
Hybrid connectors
Increasingly, we see combinations of fibre optic and copper in one combined cable. These hybrid connectors have the advantage that connecting or disconnecting the cable is done in one operation. For applications where even air, water or oil needs to be connected to a machine, in some cases we can even incorporate these tubes into the hybrid connectors.
